We have had some great events this year.
March saw the Launch of Speak Up. A cocktail evening and silent art auction to launch the ‘Speak Up' mobile app designed to help reduce violence against women.
In May we proudly launched the new edition of Women and Family Law.
We held an intimate afternoon tea at The State Library with special guest Sue Waldron who summarised the 10 year history and gave great insight into the value of this special little handbook.
Following widespread budget cuts to the community sector, June saw us begin our appeal for support to keep the Indigenous Women's Legal Program going. Many of you very generously made donations but this vital service is a long way from secure. In 2015 we will be working hard to continue with this program.
In November we held Forum on Commercial Surrogacy.
This interesting and highly topical discussion proved to be both informative and thought provoking. We extend our sincere thanks to Gilbert and Tobin who generously hosted this event.
