Hello Gorgeous

Here we are, our final email for 2014. This only means one thingâ€¦ a well-earned holiday is on the horizon - yay to that. In our final wrap up, we bring you our latest two makeovers in conjunction with FindSomeone, an on-trend update on footwear, 'Is Sugar the New Fat?' and a Christmas recipe that'll be sure to impress.

Q. My best friend has started to copy my style of dress and it really irritates me. She always asks where I got something and because I donâ€™t want to be rude I end up telling her. I choose an individual style to be different from others and hate the thought that someone else is dressed like me, especially my best friend! Help, what advice can you give.

They say â€œimitation is the sincerest form of flatteryâ€ and I guess it is, but it doesnâ€™t really do anything to make you feel better or get around your problem... (more)

Gift with Purchase

Have you ever been lured into spending a few dollars more on makeup so you can get the "gift with purchase" valued at say $120? Often it's too tempting for words.

You may want to reconsider. In most cases, you don't get to choose the colour or type of makeup in the gift and it may not actually suit you.

PS Don't tell them we said that :)

Styling-Shopping Session

"It was an amazing experience and I realise how often I do walk passed things that I should "try on". Family and friends have been excited to hear all about my session; I was still on the phone at 9pm! It's not easy purchasing clothes for my age group and good advice is not often forthcoming.
Your suggestions and ideas are lovely. I feel so good about the colours and different fabrics which previously I wouldn't have given a second look. I feel certain that anyone in my age group (early 70's) would feel absolutely as thrilled as I am. I 'm sure the shop assistant learnt heaps too!
