THE FLOOR IS GONE!
A team of volunteers began removing the rotted wood floor on December 6th and within two and a half days, the entire floor was gone. Bootless sure has some awesome DIY fans! By doing it ourselves, we saved a few thousand dollars. However, those savings are being rolled back into the renovation budget to help pay for unexpected repairs to the exterior wall supports which were just as rotted as the floor. The wall is basically hanging by a thread.
The next steps include repairing the exterior wall, trenching alongside that wall and installing a French drain & sump pump. After that bit of work, the new concrete floor will be poured.
Remember, the cost to fully renovate the hall tops $80,000. We've raised $31,096.52 towards our goal.
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to assist in an exciting new chapter of Bootless. NO DONATION IS TOO SMALL. Donate to our Capital Campaign and be forever remembered with your name proudly displayed on the Owner's plaque located in our lobby.

Bootless also accepts in-kind donations of supplies and equipment. For those who like to get physical, donations of your time to help renovate and get our home ready for its next public appearance are most welcomed.
