...as I'm looking around the campfire, laughing at practically everything, I can't help feel a sense of complete joy and satisfaction for being lucky enough to be amongst such an awesome group of people to share our last camping adventure for 2014 with. And as I'm thinking back on an epic 2014, I'm talking about all the crazy sh*t the Outerthere fam did on these trips:
All that was just this year!! And after 30 trips in 2014, I've got a permanent smile on my face at the thought of crawling through, climbing up, or flying off some mountain with you in 2015! What You Missed
Nov 15th and 16th, 2014 - Mini-Ocktoberfest Overnight Camping/Backpacking, Part Deux! They knew it would be cold, but I don't think anyone expected snow on the ground. It was so cold, Xunjing's water froze and Aikè's shea butter hardened like a brick. It was so cold, that when Brendan seriously cut his finger on my very sharp knife, he didn't feel it from the cold until Mariana saw the blood dripping. Yes, it was brick out there in them woods, but you know what, we had more fun and laughed so hard, I couldn't think of a more awesome end to an epic fall outdoor season than camping in the polar vortex with these guys, which coincidentally also represented Mexico, Ireland, Nigeria, France, Puerto Rico, and China. Yeah! In yo face, United Nations! Oh and yeah, it was all about that campfire and those "sausiges"... word. #not2miles
