Our holiday get-together will be on Sunday, Dec. 14th from 12-1:30 (drop-in) at the office - 1310 W Northwest Hwy in Arlington Hts. Join your fellow progressives for food, fun and fellowship!
Folks will visit from Wheeling, Palatine, Elk Grove and Barrington townships and more.
Please bring cold-weather gear like new mittens, hats or socks so we can donate to a local charity. We'll also be gathering canned goods for donation.

Judy Baar Topinka, 1944-2014
Wheeling Dems offers our condolences to the family and friends of Judy Baar Topinka. She unexpectedly passed away last night after suffering a stroke.
From Mike Riopell at the Daily Herald: Illinois Comptroller Judy Baar Topinka -- set to start a fifth term in statewide office in a few weeks -- died early Wednesday after suffering a serious stroke the day before.
From Gov. Pat Quinn: Never without her signature sense of humor, Judy was a force of nature. She left her mark on the state she has called home her entire life. Her leadership improved Illinois and paved the way for countless women in politics.
From Gov.-elect Bruce Rauner: Early this morning, Illinois lost one of its all-time greats. Comptroller Topinka's magnetic, one-of-a-kind personality brought a smile to everyone she met, and she had a servant's heart, always only caring about what was best for the people of our state.
