ArtBridges/ToileDesArts Founding Members!

Our members make a difference in the field of community-engaged arts; enriching their communities and the people in them. Membership fees help to support the work of ArtBridges all year!

Help ArtBridges to raise awareness, connect people to community-engaged art initiatives, gather and share resources, and highlight what’s going on in practice and field. ArtBridges, a free service and resource, connects with over 290 community-engaged arts initiatives across Canada.
Please consider becoming a Founding Member of ArtBridges today!

Registration forms received before December 31, 2014 will enable you or your organization to be a “Founding Member of ArtBridges”.

Nos membres apportent une contribution déterminante dans le milieu de l’art communautaire, enrichissant la collectivité et les personnes.
La cotisation des membres soutient le travail de ToileDesArts tout au long de l’année! Aidez-nous à faire connaître la cause de l’art communautaire, à diriger les gens vers les activités d’art communautaires près de chez eux, à rassembler et partager les ressources ainsi qu’à diffuser les actualités et les nouveautés du milieu. ToileDesArts, qui offre ses services gratuitement, nourrit un réseau de plus de 290 organismes et projets d’art communautaires, partout au Canada.

ACI Manitoba

ACI Manitoba is dedicated to supporting the arts and cultural industries of Manitoba. ACI Manitoba provides: arts specific management training; arts and cultural resources; networking opportunities; youth mentorship programs; urban and rural Aboriginal programming.  Read more

All Nations Healin' Thru Artz provides positive community level, artistic programming that allows youth living in Regina to access opportunities to collaborate with professional artists to create artistic products and projects.  Read more

ArtHeart provides free visual arts programs, materials and a nutritious meal to children, youth, adults and seniors living in Regent Park. We provide participants with a supportive environment in which they can create and learn, build self-esteem and develop life skills.  Read more
Art Starts inspires and cultivates social change by bringing professional artists and Toronto residents together to create community-building art projects. Art Starts uses the arts as a medium for creating a shared sense of identity, identifying challenges and collectively working to overcome them.  Read more
Based in Spryfield, Arts Express provides direct support for existing arts programs and development of new arts initiatives; coordination of arts partnerships between schools and community; access to external sources of funding to enrich school and classrooms programs.  Read more
Arts for Children and Youth's (AFCY) mandate is to engage young people living in priority neighbourhoods in high quality and accessible arts educational programs that are meaningful, relevant and collaboratively developed with community and education partners.  Read more

Common Weal Community Arts Inc. is a charitable community arts organization founded in 1993 with Rachael Van Fossen as Artistic Director. Its mandate is to engage artists collaboratively with communities to promote social change and cultural identity.  Read more
DAREarts maintains and operates arts education programs that complement the education system and build confidence, courage and leadership. DAREarts' First Roots program brings arts resources to isolated First Nations reserves, working with community elders, artists and traditional teachers.  Read more
Folklore Music and Arts offers hands-on music workshops for non-musicians. Owner Jim Arnold leads workshops across Canada at conferences and locally at schools and in assisted living facilities. A hands-on musical journey for K to grade 12 students is extremely popular. Music Recreation Skills in Dementia Care has been presented at over 100 long term care homes in Ontario.  Read more

Jumblies Theatre Jumblies Theatre makes art in everyday and unexpected places, with, for and about the people and stories found there. The Jumblies Studio is a flexible, integrated, itinerant and interdisciplinary program for learning, mentorship and exploration in Arts that engage with and create Community.  Read more
Lakeshore Arts is committed to improving the availability of arts and culture within our neighbourhood. We encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in the arts - as a way of enriching their lives and strengthening our community.  Read more
Mindful Arts currently facilitates creative programming for people with mental illness in the Regent Park area. Through active community engagement: partnering with professional artists, art galleries and community organizations, we further public awareness of, and exposure to mental illness.  Read more
At Street Culture Kidz Project, art is used as a tool for engagement, retention and expression for street involved and under served youth. It is also used as part of the social venture program operated by the agency. Art process in this area is done in response to a request for services.  Read more
The STEPS (Sustainable Thinking and Expression on Public Space) Initiative believes that public spaces as unmediated sites of interaction between diverse citizens, are eroding. Art can serve as a common language with which citizens can create shared spaces that foster civic engagement.  Read more
UrbanArts enhances community building by engaging youth through the arts. Its mandate is to link community organizations and members with local artists and residents.  Read more
VibraFusion Lab: creating "vibratory" compositions alone, or in combination with visual and auditory creations, encourages new attitudes and approaches towards vibratory media as an innovative and inclusive form of expression.  Read more
