Holiday Greetings!

The Hospital for Hope team thanks you for all your support in bringing healthcare to rural India.

Since the hospital opened in summer of 2013, over 7000 patients have been provided healthcare; this last month alone brought in nearly 1000 patients! The numbers are growing steadily, and with your support this holiday season, we will be on track to treat over 2000 patients a month by July of 2015!

Along with the growth of the hospital’s patient base, 2014 saw some other great achievements:

  • HfH was selected by NETIP’s Washington DC chapter, NetSAP DC, to be their charity beneficiary for the year. NetIP is an organization representing over 50,000 professionals in North America.  On November 25th, they hosted a successful fundraising gala at the Hillyer Art Space in downtown DC that helped the hospital reach its financial goals for the year.
  • Hospital for Hope is now a fully independent non-profit! We started as a grassroots project amongst a few college students, then lived under an umbrella organization (One World’s Children’s Fund, thank you so much) and have now grown to the point we decided to register under our own 501(c)(3). It's a big milestone that owes incredibly to all of you reading this newsletter.

As many of you know, our goal has always been to ensure that the hospital is able to become self-sufficient. It is our priority this upcoming year to make that reality, through continued support on resources, local management, and village outreach. We thank you again for all the support and guidance thus far, and any continued support you may be able to provide this holiday season.
