Advent Continues!
The Advent Fun continues this Sunday with card making following worship.
The toys donated so far were taken to Chandler Christian Community Center this week, but we'll do one more drop-off on Monday. We're collecting socks and underwear of all sizes this Sunday!

Get Your Hands Dirty!
Well, sweaty, or something like that. We have two opportunities for hands-on help at Chandler Christian Community Center. On Thursday, December 18th, we'll be sorting gifts from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. On the morning of Monday, December 22nd, at 8:00 a.m. we'll be helping with distribution of the gifts. If you'd like to help either time (or both!) let Rev. Abigail know. Kids and adults of all ages are welcome to come!

Welcome, Jay Willrett Pearson!
Jay was born at 9:15 a.m. on December 7th, weighing 8 lbs, 2 oz. He (and everyone else) came home on Tuesday. And Jay makes no apologies for starting Kelly's maternity leave a Sunday early. He and we are just glad he's here: thanks be to God!

Calling All Kids!
At our Christmas Eve service, we're inviting kids of all ages to participate in Improv at the Stable. It's an impromptu Christmas play with costumes and fun. We don't have to know if you're participating before, but it's helpful. Let Pat Barton know if your child, grandchild, niece, nephew, second cousin's daughter, neighbor kid or anyone else will be at Chalice on Christmas Eve and wants to be involved. Seriously--all are welcome!

It's Camp Time!
Ok, not really. But it is time to think about camp! We'll be at Camp Pinerock in Prescott again this year, from May 31 through June 5. If you're interested in counseling, download an application here. They're due by February 1. If you have questions, feel free to ask! Jim Barton, Bill Carter and Rev. Abigail have all counseled at camps in Arizona and can probably answer your questions.

The East Valley Youth Group will meet at Chalice this Sunday, December 14th from 5-7 p.m. for their Christmas party. Bring a wrapped gift of trash to exchange. (We're serious about the trash. Spend no money. Have a sense of humor. Spend no money. You get it.)
Lots of food, friends and fun. You should come.
