Dear Friends,
I am sure you are wondering what in the heck is going on with the release date for My Lord. I know this because I am getting messages from people daily and every time I receive one it gets a little harder to respond. So, I am breaking with my normal policy regarding the sharing of my personal family business in order to clear up the mystery for fans anxiously awaiting the next installment of The Rothvale Legacy.
*deep breath*
As some of you might be aware I lost my father in April after a long, debilitating illness. The loss of him has been hard on all of us, but most especially felt by my mother. So much so that my mom is now in failing health and receiving hospice support to help her along in the final stages of her life-journey. That's pretty much it. I won't go into details because my personal life is something I keep private, but know that my time is taken up with family and attending to priorities that require my attention right now, and will be until the time comes that I am no longer needed. *tears*
 I know people have been searching for the preorder links on the various selling platforms for the book, and couldn't find them because I hadn't set up a preorder for My Lord before now. Please be aware that the book will be on preorder everywhere but Amazon. My Lord will be sold on Amazon after it publishes, of course, it just won't have a preorder link on Amazon. The reason for that is a business decision and nothing else. My Lord is indie published, and as the spokesperson for Raine Miller Romance [publisher] I get to make those critical decisions about where, when, pricing, etc. for any of my indie published books.
There is good news! My Lord now has a publication date, and preorder links to iBooks, Nook and Kobo are coming shortly. *IMPORTANT* The release date of January 16th listed on the preorder could very well change to an earlier date in 2014, though, and you should know that the likelihood of the book coming early is high, and also that book 3 in the series, Heart and Arrow, will not be far behind it with a live preorder link at the back of My Lord when you finish reading.
 As for My Captain, book 2 for Neil & Elaina will be getting the same sort of treatment of having preorders on platforms other than Amazon, and a flexible schedule that could allow My Captain to publish before the January 30th date which will be listed on the preorder links once they become live. On a side note, can I tell you how much I am in love with the cover and Captain McManus?

I am working very hard to get these books to you as quickly as possible. Life just got in the way and my time devoted to writing and my business is expendable, whereas the time I need to devote to my family at the moment...is most definitely not. Thank you for understanding, and I hope that the days will pass swiftly as you wait for the arrival of My Lord and My Captain. And since I know there are heaps and heaps of other amazing books out there written by my super talented fellow scribes for you to read and enjoy in the meantime, I know you will be in very good hands while you wait.
