SAM's Directors Play on Legendary Piano

SAM's Directors, Dr. Villaverde and Dr. Claure recently had the opportunity of playing in the incredible Steinway piano that belonged to the legendary pianist Vladimir Horowitz. Click below to watch videos of their performances on this amazing instrument.

SAM student is accepted into AMDA in NY!

Our voice student Farid Issa was accepted into the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York. He received a scholarship as part of his admission package. Congratulations to him and his teacher, Ms. Lissette Jimenez. We'll certainly miss Farid and wish him great success in his musical career!

Faculty Award!

Our fabulous musicianship and theory teacher, Dr. Liza Seigido was recently the recipient of an honorary award granted by the Miami Light Project to develop a new musical composition.

Upcoming National Music Assessments held at SAM!

Good luck to all our students who will soon be taking the national music assessments for the Royal Conservatory Music Development Program this coming Saturday Dec. 6th which will be held at SAM. We know students and teachers have worked hard in preparation for this event and we wish them all the best!
