On Sunday, December 14th, we'll meet for our Community Gathering from 5:30-7pm.
Jeanne Miller is providing us with Sloppy Joes for dinner. We'll eat right at 5:30pm, and spend our normal time together singing, spending time in God's Word, and praying from 6-7pm. Feel free to come early (if you'd like) so as not to miss the end of the Bronco's game.
BRING YOUR KIDS (there will be an activity for them),
and consider INVITING A FRIEND who might be interested in Fathom Church.

We are planning to launch our services in January on Sunday mornings, but until then we will have our Community Gatherings on Sunday nights. Here's the schedule for the rest of the year:
- Sunday, December 14, 5:30-7pm (Sloppy Joe dinner)
- Sunday, December 21, 4-5:30pm
- Wednesday, December 31 - FATHOM NEW YEARS EVE PARTY
All gatherings will be at Royce and Mary Robinson's home (9516 S. Everett Way Littleton, CO 80127 [click for map]).
At these gatherings there will be child programming, worship through song, as well as spend time in prayer, fellowship, and God's Word.

The Lord has answered our prayers, and provided Fathom with a wonderful worship leader. Luke Jackson has agreed to come on board with us as our worship leader. Come this Sunday night to meet him, and be lead in worship by him.

WHO IS ON THE ELDER TEAM?
|
|
|
As we have been in this pre-planting season we have had a functional Elder team consisting of four men committed to Fathom. These four guys have been spending lots of time preparring Fathom for her launch be setting up bylaws, legal documents, governance, expectations and oversight of Chris, and a lot of other things.
Those four men are Nathan Jones, Chris Martin, Royce Robinson, & Justin Rounds.
Nathan and Justin carry the title of Elder Candidate. They will be formally assessed, and brought before Fathom for a vote of affirmation after we launch.
Royce carries the title of Elder Advisor. There is a conflict of interests for Royce because of his relation to Chris, but his experience has been invaluable as he has previous church elder board experience. He will function as an elder advisor until after we launch.

The Lord has answered another of our prayers. Littleton Young Life has graciously allowed us to use their facility on Sunday mornings in the New Year. THIS IS HUGE NEWS, CHURCH! On Friday we will meet with their leaders and discuss our arrangement. Please pray that we can mutually bless this incredible ministry, as they bless us.

The Lord has been incredibly generous with us thus far in the church planting process. In fact, we have some money in the bank. The Elder Team wants to begin building corporate generosity into our church from the get-go. So, we want to take 10% of all that we have in the bank at the end of 2014 and be generous with it to another ministry. Two ideas were given on Sunday:
- Denver Street School (building a new facility in Littleton)
- Littleton Young Life (a gift as we being our partnership)
If you have any other ideas, please reply to this email. Please pray for God's leading this week and next, and we'll discuss on Sunday the 21st, and decide where this money should go.

Note: There is a processing fee 2.9% + $0.30 (a $100.00 donation will result in a $96.80 gift to Fathom Church).

As we start Fathom, we want to be strategic and Biblical as we seek to glorify God by making disciples. In doing so, we need to come up with a plan of discipleship.

Hey church, here are some things you can be praying about daily for Fathom:
- Finances: we are fundraising with a goal of raising 6 months budget ($60,000) as a reserve. Please pray for the Lord's provision.
- People: please pray that God would stir in hearts of people to join us at Fathom (especially non-believers!).
- Facility: pray for our meeting this Friday as we nail down the details of our facility.
- Acts 29: Chris' Acts 29 assessment is on THIS Thursday, December 11th. Please pray that it goes well.
