THIS SUNDAY'S SERVICE
|
Our sanctuary will fill this Sunday with the sound of music, as our choir presents a cantata with both Advent and Christmas themes. It will not only include beautiful music, but a number of wonderful readings as well. And the congregation will join in, too, with the singing of great hymns. Please make an effort to attend, not only to worship the Lord, but also to show your support for our choir and all of its hard work. What a joyful, special Sunday this will truly be! Peace, Larry

FLOWERS The flowers in the narthex this Sunday morning are given to the glory of God and in honor of the marriage of
Tony McCants and Emily Kline.

RICE NEEDED Please consider donating 1 lb. bags of rice this Christmas season. This time of year is especially difficult for families. Bags of rice can be put in the basket in the back of the sanctuary. If time is an issue, we would happily accept a check and go shopping for you. Please make the check payable to: WEPC and designate it for the Rice Fund. Thank you!

2014 PLEDGES Statements went out in early December to families
concerning their giving totals for this year and where they stand on their remaining pledges. We received pledges totaling $394,000 for this year, but at the end of November the amount received thus far was around $314,000. Also, at the end of November, our spending for this year has exceeded our revenue by $20,000. We are hoping as many families as can will complete their pledges by the end of December. If you still have an outstanding pledge, we hope you will be able to fulfill it during this month. Thank you.

STEWARDSHIP So far the church has received 133 pledge cards, totaling $376,088. The goal is $400,000. If you have not done so already, we encourage you to send in your pledge card. Thanks to all those who have turned your pledge card in! Your pledge helps us to best plan for the operations and ministry of WEPC in 2015.
