Lesson 546: Why Does God Protect Us?
When God protects His people from evil, He displays justice. He does what is right for all to see, for His glory.
Isa.63:14 you led your people, to make for yourself a glorious name.
Isa.66:18 all nations… shall come and shall see my glory.
Ezek.39:21 I will set my glory among the nations, and all the nations shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid on them.
Ezek.37:28 the nations will know that I am the Lord who sanctifies Israel, when my sanctuary is in their midst forevermore.
Psa.23:5 You prepare a table before me [even more God does this] in the presence of my enemies
Psa.41:11 By this I know that you delight in me: my enemy will not shout in triumph over me.
During the 4th plague on Egypt, God sent flies across the nation except around God’s people.
Exo.8:23 God said to Pharaoh, “I will put a division between my people and your people. Tomorrow this sign shall happen.”
Exo.14:4 God said, “I will get glory over Pharaoh and all his host, and the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord.”
About This Series
The goal of this series is to become more useful in serving the Lord Jesus Christ, as an instrument in the Redeemer's hand. The theme verses for the series are Ephesians 4:22-24, Philemon 11, 2 Timothy 2:21
- to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds,
- and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.
- Formerly he was useless to you, but now he is indeed useful to you and to me.
- Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work.
