Lesson 551: Step by Step
Most people would like to learn and grow without the painful process. But our Creator understands that we learn best by walking step by step with Him, trusting His wisdom.
The mystery of Christ was revealed step by step to humanity. God gradually revealed more over the centuries until the fullness of time. Gal.4:4; Eph.3:5; Heb.1:1-2; 1 Pet.1:10-12
Rom.16:25-26 the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages but has now been disclosed and through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations
God gradually reveals wisdom and His will for each of us individually.
He promises that He will finish the work He started in each of us. Phil.1:6
He promises that we will be blessed and conformed to the image of Christ in the end.
But along the journey, God asks us to keep walking, one step at a time, based on faith.
Heb.11:1 faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
About This Series
The goal of this series is to become more useful in serving the Lord Jesus Christ, as an instrument in the Redeemer's hand. The theme verses for the series are Ephesians 4:22-24, Philemon 11, 2 Timothy 2:21
- to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds,
- and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.
- Formerly he was useless to you, but now he is indeed useful to you and to me.
- Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work.
