Double Dose of Goodness

I have more response to the Daily Dive but at the same time....

I have been losing people to the group. I am not concerned about the numbers as much as I am about interaction. The Daily Five has really provided some great interactions.

However, I don't want to saturate your inbox twice a week. I have decided to combine the two and see how that works

The Daily Five for this week contains questions that you must ask yourself to find out your personal purpose. These ideas comes from one of the great reads of 2014, Make Your Mark by 99U

Let me give you some ideas to infuse into your classroom. If you find anything helpful and you do indeed use these ideas and links let me know. Thanks to Otto for the many resources.

Scrapheap Challenge
(from an activity aboard the Sapphire Princess cruise boat)
Task: Create a vessel that will carry six soda cans across two lengths of a swimming pool (or other small body of water).
Find and use any materials that are ready for recycling - not new.
Team members may not physically touch the craft during the test runs.
Judging will be based on: seaworthiness of the craft, creativity demonstrated, verbal description and explanation of how it functions before demonstration by one team member.
Audience votes for the best one.
