Greetings!

Are you letting music help you make people happy?

By taking just a few moments (ahead of time) to choose some familiar, upbeat music you can easily set the mood and yes – make people happier. And you know better than I do that when the happiness level of your residents goes up – your job gets easier.

Do you have residents that are cranky or difficult at certain times of the day? If so, be ready with the music you have chosen. I know you’re crazy busy. So here’s a simple tip. Let your smart phone help you.

Use your smart phone’s alarm to remind you to turn on the CD player whenever that time of day comes around. Head off “cranky” at the pass. No CD player? Download some happy songs on your phone and just use your phone that you carry with you to play the music.

Happy music = happy people.

Yours in song,
Mary Sue

PS.  To make this even easier – here’s a free download of one of the songs from my CD. Give it a try. Let me know how it works!

“For 4 hours on Wednesday nights, I offer my mom respite by "sitting" with my dad, a victim of Alzheimer's. I'm always seeking ways to connect with him.  I' m happy to report that I found an amazing way to connect with my dad through your CD. I was amazed at my dad's ability to name the songs and sing along with the music. It brought such joy to our evening together.
