How is beauty an evidence of Christianity? What’s the difference between a good and bad painting, song, or movie? Does pursuing beauty distract us from more noble causes such as helping the poor? To what lengths should we go to look beautiful? What about expensive clothing, hairstyles, and cosmetic surgery?
  • Pastor Bryan will be addressing the question “Can We Trust the Bible?” Did the earliest witnesses make up the story?  How do we know it is not a legend? Did early writers record their testimony accurately? How do we know we got the right books in the Bible? Has the original text been corrupted and even lost?

Children's Prayer Partners:

One idea is to choose a day and every week on that day pray for the child(ren) for whom you have committed to pray.

This week:

Pray that God would complete the good work begun in the life of the child (you pray for). (Philippians 1:6)

Families! When you see answered prayer or spiritual milestones in the life of your child, mention this to the person praying for your child, and rejoice together!  If you want to know who is your child(ren)’s prayer partner, talk to Renee DeGroot.

Individuals praying: Make a point to connect with the child at church (that you pray for), so that they come to know you as their friend who cares about them.

If you’d be willing to commit to pray for a child throughout their youth, we’d love to have your participation. Talk to Renée DeGroot or email her at renee.degroot@gmail.com to be matched with a child.
