Wow! The last few weeks flew by: KidZone Summer Camp, Cruise In-car show, and to top it off 4 people went public with their faith by being baptized!!! What a wonderful expression of Making A Difference ~ Wherever You Are by Leading People Into A Growing Relationship With God Through Christ. So grateful for all those who had a part in all these Making A Difference events. Your energy, passion, time, and financial resources have touched many lives and continue to make ripples in people's lives.
There is another opportunity before us to impact the lives of Romulus School Children by providing 48 new school backpacks with supplies (supplies have already been purchased). What a nice way to show the love of Christ as kids prepare for school.
This Sunday Rick Cramer will be back to share tomorrow's message. You will want to hear what the Lord has prepared for him to share. Also, I have asked Rick to take a few moments to pray for all that is going on in our world-especially, for those suffering such horrific persecution in Iraq. It has kept me up a few nights this past week. Please include Iraqi followers of Christ in you own personal prayer times!
On August 17, we have planned a Special Sunday. A lot of thinking, praying, and anticipation is behind it. Hope you won't miss SCC these next two weeks.
