From The Blog: DNS not resolving from the hosts file

The other day I was configuring a new production system for a client and I ran into something I have never seen before. I was trying to test the SSL certificates on the new servers and since the old servers are still running in production I can’t change the DNS entries so I simply fired up UltraEdit and modified my hosts file to have the new server IP point to the new server SSL host name.  Read more

Message from Wade:

Is anybody else thinking this year is going quickly?  There really isn't enough hours in the day!  We have had successful go-lives, systems ready to go live, systems that are looking to completely revamp and several systems to review for potential changes!   What a summer.  Is your organization in need of an architectural review?

Panda + Community

Smart Panda has had an amazing month working with the new St Thomas Railway City Rotary club.  Last month we did a service project to help out with the Day out with Thomas.  This month we welcomed Pony into our home.  Pony is a Rotary Exchange student from Taiwan who will be going to school here for the next year.  It has been exciting to get to know him and we are introducing him to many of our customs and culture and in turn he has introduced us to a wealth of customs and culture from his home!

The Rotary Club also did a service project with Inspired Change - Drop Zone 2014.  We raised lots of money for the team and now we are looking for some help to get us the rest of the way to our goal!  We are just weeks away from seeing a Panda being thrown off a building.  If you can help out we would sure appreciate it!  Click Here To Help!

We also did the ALS ice bucket challenge and the kids thoroughly enjoyed that. The video is up on the Facebook page
