Lucky 8.8 Young Professionals Networking Mixer
 
The Lucky 8/8 saw another amazing Networking Mixer in The Pine Garden (China World Summit Wing) where more than 100+ young professionals gathered from all around Beijing. Perfect summer weather teamed with this exclusive rooftop located high above the bustling hub of Beijing's Central Business District, the was night truly special for everyone. 

It was great to see attendees enjoying in the fun of wearing their lucky red outfits, making new connections over samosas and kebabs and eagerly checking their lucky draw hongbao at the lucky time of 8.58pm.

Future Business Leaders Welcome Dinner
 
To formally welcome the five successful candidates of the AustCham Beijing Future Business Leaders Program and to thank our supporting partners, AustCham Beijing and the Australia China Council hosted the 2014 FBL Welcome Dinner at Flamme Restaurant in Sanlitun.

Guests enjoyed a divine four course dinner and heard from Robert Campbell, AustCham Beijing Board Director and Managing Director of Yatsen Associates. AustCham Beijing wishes the best for these young Australian professionals as they begin full time positions with Cochlear, Woods Bagot, and Westpac.

AustCham Beijing Chair speaks to Takungpao regarding insights of foreign investment in China 
In the recent exclusive interview with Takunpao, Tracy Colgan, the Chair of Board of Directors of Australian Chamber of Commerce Beijing, shared her insight into what it takes for foreign businesses to succeed in China. In the interview, she highlighted the importance for Australian as well as other foreign companies wishing to enter the Chinese market to conduct thorough economic research, understand local business etiquette and the need for basic information support.
