Hello everyone,
As promised, an extra Listeners' Club Newsletter this month in which we are delighted to announce that Raintown are to perform at our Seventh Birthday Party and Awards.
 Paul and Claire of the Glasgow-based band will be joined by two fellow musicians to perform an acoustic set at the event at the Best Western Premier Yew Lodge Hotel, Kegworth, Deby, on Saturday 13th September.
Paul said, "We are really excited to be asked to perform as part of UKCountryRadio.com's Birthday celebrations. We are also grateful to be nominated for the station's 'UK Country Artist Of The Year Award' and appreciate all the hard work done on the station to promote country music here in the UK."
 We are equally pleased to announce that the evening will see the launch of a brand new acoustic trio fronted by popular UK country music artist Paul Martin. Paul is joined by season guitarist Richard Freemand and yours truly on keyboards. We are looking forward to performing in public for the first time.
It brings to nine the total number of artists performing on the night. Gary Quinn and Thorne Hill with Arizona Storm, each nominated alongside Raintown for our UK Country Artist of the Year Award, will also perform. The Award will be presented on the night.
The evening also includes the final of our Listeners' Club Song Award. Finalists Interactive Murcia, Lucy Zirins, Kelly Michelle, Suzanna Shore and Wayne Jacobs will each perform their song, before everyone attending on the night votes for their favourite. The winner, announced later in the evening, will be the song which receives the most votes in total from the voting on the night and the online voting which took place earlier in the year.
Complete with a three-course celebratory dinner, this really is shaping up to be our best Birthday Party ever. Tickets are still available, just click the poster or the button below to get yours.
