For the past 5 years Mixing Innovative Arts has become a staple in the Honolulu lit scene - voted best literary event two years in a row by Honolulu Weekly readers. On Monday, August 18th, 2014 founder and coordinator of M.I.A., Jaimie Gusman, will read alongside Dave Scrivner, Tyler McMahon, Anjoli Roy, and Evan Nagle in her last event as coordinator of the series, before handing it over to writer Joseph Han. The event will take place at Fresh Cafe's Loft in Space (831 Queen St.). As always, the reading is free and all ages.
