A long drive to golf is not for everyone, but what if it is to play a course that is consistently on the list of "Best Public Courses you can Play" in both Golf Digest and Golf Week magazines?? Sand Creek Station was also recently host to the U.S. Amateur's Public Links Championship.
The course is giving EWGA this amazing reduced rate in appreciation of our patronage and because the greens will have been aerated the week before.
This will be an all-day affair. We will drive down, golf, eat dinner, and return. Our first tee time is at 11:30. The drive will take 2 hours and 45 minutes from the Lenexa area. Several meeting places will be arranged to carpool to the course.

Golf Education Opportunities
CALLING ALL BEGINNER GOLFERS!
Join the beginning golfer group for putting, chipping and driving range practice opportunities. Each session will feature information on the rules and etiquette of golf; provided at no additional charge.
Added Bonus: Connect with other EWGA members after the practice session at a local establishment for food and beverages.
Cost: $1 per session (plus after session costs) for weekly prizes for the best putting, chipping, and longest drive. You could be the next session winner!
BREAKING 100
We heard you loud and clear! The first session of “Breaking 100” will begin soon. Golf Professional, Liz Smart, will teach 5 sessions for $99 at Overland Park Golf Course! The upcoming session is full; however you can indicate your interest in the next session, beginning in September by emailing
