<<First Name>>, it may be the beginning of August, but its never too early to think about the Fall Fun Rally!!!
Registration now open

Early-bird Registration is Due!

Registration is open for the Fall Fun Rally. Sign up now for the best value. The early bird registration is due by this Friday, August 8. The closer we get to the event, the more the event costs. So get registered early and save your unit some money.
So get registered by going to http://www.fallfunrally.org/registration! Just like past years you can only register online. You can pay with check, credit, or even paypal this year. And just like past years, feel free to register everyone you know is coming now, and come back and add more people later.
Help Wanted!!!

Putting the Fall Fun Rally on takes hundreds of people, from both Greater St. Louis and out of Council. Nearly all the events in the field are sponsored by crews attending the Fall Fun Rally. And because fun is our middle name, we try not to work anyone too hard. Most volunteers work for only part of the day, usually puttng on some great programs at the event.

Specifically we need help with:
Archery (Trained supervisor and hobbyist ok)
Climbing staff (GSLAC training requested)
Rifle and Shotgun Instructors (RSO required)
Dining Hall greeters and cleaners (meals only)
If you can help, even for just part of a day (or one meal) please contact Jeff Abernathy, the Fall Fun Rally Advisor at advisor@fallfunrally.org

Cakeways

How do you celebrate the 250 Birthday of St. Louis?  Having a Cake at your units camping area. As St. Louis is celebrating the 250 birthday, the Cakeway to the West is one part public art exhibit, one part scavenger hunt and one part history lesson - all adding up to a year's worth of fun exploring St. Louis!

Start to get an idea of what your units Cake will look like at the Fall Fun Rally.  We will have rules of the Cakeways in the future mailings.  Examples of the 250 cakes can be found here.
