Trig-Bagging Grand Finale!

Trig-bagging sure was one way to make the deep dark depths of winter fly by. Thank you to everyone who took part, it was so much fun watching your entries roll in. I don't know about everyone else, but I found the trig-photos hugely motivating and it definitely encouraged me to get out and about in the weekends!

We're working on a bit of a map/slideshow so that everyone can see where we did (and didn't) get to during the trig-bagging season. In the meantime, follow the link here to read the judge's final word on the season. Prizes, as well as the highly prestigious trig-bagging trophy, will be awarded at the annual Complete Performance Spring brunch outing.

Ten minutes after midnight, the first day of June
A figure is stalking under the light of the moon
He creeps his way up to Sugarloaf summit
The first trig is bagged – do you know who dunnit?

Brunch Ride:

It's time to start thinking about Spring! The annual Complete Performance Brunch Ride will be held on September 14th. It's a day where we celebrate the day getting longer, traditionally with bacon, pancakes and coffee!

Cyclists will meet at Pioneer, group up, then ride out to the Raspberry Cafe, completing some 'challenges' along the way ;-)
Runners will meet at the Raspberry Cafe to receive instructions for their challenge.

Training Tip: How's your Pelvic Floor?

Pelvic Floor muscles are deep abdominal muscles that form the base of your 'core'. They work to help stabilize the spine, and also help to control your bladder and bowel.
If you've had children, back issues, or a history of chronic coughing then you will no doubt be aware of these muscles, or lack of them!

Check out our tip on the pelvic floor and find out some exercises to help strengthen this area, and exercises you should avoid.
