Happy August!

    We will be hosting a Paleo talk August 26th at 6:30 pm. If you have not yet heard of the phenomenon that is the Paleolithic diet this is your chance to learn everything you need to know! What is sometimes referred to as the caveman diet, Paleo entails eating non-processed meats, fruits, vegetables, and nuts. Cutting out wheat and grains can be very beneficial for your health as well as promoting weight loss.We'll also briefly discuss eating for your blood type and how different foods trigger different responses from each individual. Come hang with us as we advise you on the in's and out's of what you need to know! Until then try this recipe as a starter and let us know what you think! Cauliflower Rice : 1 head of cauliflower, 1 garlic clove, 1 white onion, 4 ounces of mushrooms, 1 tbs salt, 1 tbs pepper,1 tbs coconut oil,  cilantro to taste. Combine chopped cauliflower, minced garlic and all spices in a food processor. Slowly processes in food processor until the consistency of rice. Heat coconut oil in large sauce pan. Add the onions and let cook for about 2 minutes. Add mushrooms and let cook until onions have a translucent appearance. Add cauliflower mixture and cook another 2 minutes. Add cilantro. Use in any dish as a substitute for rice!
