VENDOR SPOTLIGHT
Jett's Produce
Jett's Produce is an all chemical free, nutrient dense produce farm located in Telford, PA.  Farmer Thadd grows year round and uses high tunnels to grow fresh greens and spinach in the winter and tomatoes in early summer.  Closing out the Farmer series of the newsletter, Farmer Thadd explains to Charisse McGill (Market Manager) how he got into business, his favorite quote and his last vacation.

Charisse McGill (CM): How long have you been in business?
Thaddeus Jett (TJ): I've been a full time farmer with Jett's Produce since 2006.
CM: How did you get in to the business?
TJ: My Grandfather and Father were both farmers, so I'm third generation.
CM: Why do you participate in the Lansdale Farmers' Market?
TJ: Lansdale was my first market ever! I had all my first experiences here.
CM: Where can customers buy your produce outside of the Market season?
TJ: The farm is located at 87 Ridge Road in Telford, PA.  I also participate in the Easton Market on Wednesdays.
CM: Tell us something that people are surprised to know about your growing practices?
TJ: We are strictly a no spray, chemical-free  farm....period!
CM: And now for your Fave Five - Quote, Movie, TV Show, Vacation Destination and Greatest Extravagance...?
TJ: Quote - "Let food be your medicine."; Movie - My life is movie enough!; TV Show: The Weather Channel; Vacation Destination - Daytona 500, Daytona, FL for my 50th birthday; Greatest Extravagance - My John Deer Tractor

If this is overwhelming to you…

Grab a bottle of wine at Boyd’s Cardinal Hollow Winery, then hightail it over to Katharine’s Crepes for some piping hot crepes, slice up some freshly picked cantaloupe & watermelon at Mickley’s Orchard & Farm Market…  Skip the cleaning, keep the lights low & pick up aroma therapy candles at Lissful Light Candle Company.  Light that candle and no one will ever know the difference!
