Dear Wesley families,
We have arrived at the first long weekend of the year, and in what seems to have only been a few short days, we’ve actually been in school for an entire month. I could not be more pleased with how well the year has begun, no more excited about the enthusiasm that permeates our building, and no more appreciative of the positive energy that keeps our team happy and motivated.
During the holiday weekend, I would kindly ask that you to spend a little time thinking about all the wonderful things currently underway at Wesley – and what specifically you can do to help make us better. The WIA parent community is a tremendous asset to our school, and the collective expertise, talent, insight, and contributions that you make, provide us with the fuel we need to sustain and grow.
Notwithstanding the year’s new internal changes, you should know that we are actively pursuing partnerships and grant opportunities that will eventually help improve school programming. In the coming weeks, I hope to announce a few initiatives related specifically to technology and the Chinese Department - in addition to a wonderful new partnership with one of the foremost fundraising consulting agencies in the southeast.
As I have shared on many occasions, Wesley is positioned well to now redirect our efforts toward more ambitious goals – and to do so with strategic, well planned action. With this in mind, we are destined to have a wonderful year.
Take good care and enjoy your time off. We will see you on Tuesday, September 2.
Regards,
Duke Bradley, III
