Weekly Update
Sunday, August 31st
"Voting is the most precious right of every citizen, and we have a moral obligation to ensure the integrity of our voting process." -Hillary Clinton
Friday was Senator David Pryor's 80th birthday. The former Senator has been busy traveling the state advocating for all Democrats. I appreciate his dedication to this great state and party.
Congratulations to Lisa Parks, our new WCD Secretary. Lisa was elected by acclimation at our meeting on Monday. Many of you know Lisa's accomplishments, but I encourage you to check out her full biography on our website.
Mike Ross opened his newest campaign office in Springdale, his first outside of Little Rock, on Tuesday. There was a great crowd in attendance, not of new faces, too. The Ross campaign is looking for volunteers to help run office operations. If you're interested in helping, please let me know. Stop by and see the new digs at 3329 W. Sunset Ave in Springdale (next to Radio Shack/Across from K-Mart).
New polling was released this week has Mike Ross in the lead, check out the full poll here. Let's continue this positive momentum.
Lastly, added this week, thanks for the tip Maria Hicks, WCD now can accept on-line donations and monthly contributions via credit card or e-check. Log-on and give it a try.
Democratically Yours,
Tyler B. Clark
