Wow! I can't believe summer is almost gone and fall is almost here. I'm kind of a stickler for the seasonal dates and choose to totally hold on to any season until it's official "entry/departure" date.
With that in mind, we technically have until September 23 before fall is here, so keep on enjoying all of your favorite summer things for just a bit longer--we've certainly got the heat for it now!!
But until then, grab a calendar and start counting down because it's almost time for KidZRocK to begin again and this year's theme is:
KidZRock (K-6th grade) will start back September 10 from 67:15 pm, and we will use some out of this world ideas, games, lessons and more to help HiSKidZ come to know Jesus in deeper ways.
I can't wait to get started, and I know HiSKidZ are feeling the same way. (Because they keep telling me so!!)
If you would like to join our fun, just let me know. We'd love to have you as part of our KidZRocK team. Not only do you get to HiSKidZ, you also make some great friendships, have some awesome fun together with other leaders outside of KidZRocK, but you also grow spiritually as you learn while you serve!!
And of course, invite your friends, lots of them, and bring them along as we begin another great KidZRocK year! |

At NTCC, 6th Grade ROCKS! (RISE UP, OVERCOME, COMMIT, KNEEL and SERVE)
Each year 6th graders are offered the opportunity to take part in Cross Country--a discipleship ministry developed to help them KNOW, GROW, CARE and SHARE Jesus with their friends and the world as they transition from HiSKidZ to Student Ministry.
This transitional year gives them the chance to serve, lead, play, study, learn and have tons of fun just for them. This year we have some great things planned including retreats, game nights, outreach events and more. If you have a 6th grade student, be sure to encourage them to take part in Cross Country this year. We will begin meeting in mid September on either Wednesday nights after KidZRocK or Sunday evenings at 6pm. |
