The last week of August is upon us!  We've got lots of great veggies for your long weekend plans.

Here's what's fresh this week:

Please note: we do our best to project what we can harvest, but we can't guarantee that everything will be available, or available at both Wed. and Sat. markets.  As we have limited quantities of some items, arrive early for the best selection!

Workbees:

Wed. August 27th, 5-6:30pm (Potluck 6:30-7pm)
Sat. September 13th, 1-3pm

Come out to our next work bee and help us wrestle with the newest plant invasion (aka weeds).   Or join the compost social, with muscle-building and aromatherapy as added benefits!

Our community potlucks are always lots of fun - meet your neighbours, share a meal and gardening tips. There is always lots to learn, and it's fun for the whole family! No need to have volunteered before the potluck - just come join us!

If you've never volunteered with us and have questions, check out the FAQs on our website
Honeyfest Cancelled

We're sad to announce that this year's Honey Fest on September 6th is cancelled.

We went into the hives last week to get a sense of how much honey our little worker bees had stored and were shocked to find VERY little! We're keeping our fingers crossed for a better year next year.

You can read more about our hives this year in this blog post.
