Spend Saturday afternoon with the writers of the Kaimuki Writers Workshop.
The Kaimuki Writer’s Workshop will be reading at Coffee Talk in Kaimuki on Sat, Aug. 30th from 4-5 p.m.
Virginia Loo will be reading from her memoir on having a baby in vitro. Brian Chappel will be reading from his children’s story on The Adventures of Harriet, Aki Marceau will be reading from her story on step-moms and Karen Shishido will read her story about a troubled Korean War vet. Jacquelyn Chappel will be reading a section from her memoir in progress about her philandering father.
Chapbooks and posters of Kaimuki, designed by Brian, will also be available for purchase.
