Today, we are ecstatic to partner with Orison Wines as they announce the release of their second vintage of white wine, Orison Pipa 2013, and the inaugural release of their red wine, Orison Rowan 2012.  Many of you tried the 2012 Pipa last year and we can unequivocally say it was a smash hit.  Join us as we support NYV alumnus Daniel Orrison on his impressive sophomore vintage.

Orison  wines epitomize one of the most undervalued wine-producing regions in the world - Alentejo, Portugal – and they are made, as they’re meant to be enjoyed, in the spirit of celebration. We’re thrilled about the quality of Orison's new vintage, and we think you will be too.

New York Vintners is offering you priority pricing on the new release. We hope you will take the opportunity to secure your 2014 allocation today!

A wine’s quality is determined in the glass. Educate yourselves!

Sincerely,

Shane Benson

2013 Orison Wines Pipa

Retail - $25  |  Your Cost - $21 on 6 bottles

Production:  200 cases

Grapes:  Antao Vaz | Arinto  |  Roupeiro

ORISON’s 2013 Pipa is an approachable yet focused blend of Arinto, Antão Vaz, and Roupeiro. With fruit sourced from several of the most important vineyards in Alentejo, Portugal, the wine was fermented in stainless steel and aged in oak. Hand battonage, the process of stirring the lees in-barrel, uniquely influences the evolving texture and profile of the wine, highlighting a depth of mineral and fruit, clean-citrus, melon, and stone.
