Great British Switch is giving people the opportunity to vote for a charity to win £50,000 - please nominate CNI Network by either:
£50,000 would enable us cover our running costs for at least 18 months as well as develop Club Angels and Festival Network. We are also looking for 365 people, businesses or organisations to donate monthly towards the work of CNI Network as we support projects supporting people - to find out more please click here. Many thanks to those who have set up monthly or given one off donations already.
Our teams have had a busy summer as festival season hit! Both V Festival sites, Leeds and Reading Festivals, Beverley Races Ladies Day and Edinburgh Fringe all had volunteers from local churches, Street Angel, Street Chaplain or Street Pastor groups.

The Leeds Festival (and Facebook / Twitter) saw 120 volunteers (along with Bishop of Leeds Nick Baines) running the Lost Property, a Prayer Cafe and detached teams across the site from 12noon Wednesday to 12noon Monday. At Chelmsford's V Festival beer goggles, games and a Hall of Fame were featured whilst in Stafford cups of water were handed out, listening ears offered and a prayer space created. In Edinburgh the team patrolled the busy last weekend of the Fringe until the early hours whilst at Reading the Street Pastors offered a safe place cafe.

We hope to develop festival work over the coming months through the Festival Network.

Paul also celebrated his 40th Birthday recently and asked for donations towards the work of CNI Network instead of presents - this raised nearly £200 towards our work. Many thanks to those who donated.
