Intersolar South America

Day three, 28 August 2014

South America’s hydropower dominated renewables landscape has been challenged by the wind sector and solar is now primed to take its share too.

Intersolar South America 2014, ending today, comes as downstream projects begin to roll out in large numbers and big markets like Brazil start to get to grips with their procurement plans for solar.

The upstream market is also picking up pace. It was no surprise to see DuPont talking at the event yesterday as it looks to get a foothold before the first big new production lines start to roll.

Visitors and exhibitors alike have the chance to stake their claim in the continent’s solar future.

We’ll continue to cover the latest from the region beyond the conclusion of the show, so keep an eye on the site!
