September at Park Church!

Check out what's happening as summer ends and fall begins.

We had a great summer at Park Church: a sermon series that challenged us to take a Leap! of faith, beach dinners every week, an amazingly fun Summer Classic BBQ, and much more. Also, construction on the new space at 31 Park is really coming along fast: check out the 31 Park Building Campaign website for updates, blogs, information on giving, and more.

As September begins and school starts, beaches close, and the weather cools, we want you to hear about all that is going on at Park Church this month. We have a fall festival, a new semester of Community Groups, an exciting new sermon series about the work God has called us to, the youth ministries are kicking back in, and more. So read on!

Parktemberfest

On Sunday, September 14 you are invited to Parktemberfest: a festival to kick off the fall and to celebrate God together! It will start at 5:30 – immediately after the worship service. Invite your friends and neighbors to come out and enjoy some good food, fun for the kids, and fun for all! There might be some surprises too…you never know what you’ll find at a Park Church festival!

Community Groups are starting up again - and we want to see you involved!

Community Groups are weekly gatherings to help us grow as Christ-followers together: to experience authentic relationships, to grow in faith, and to be challenged to show the love of Christ to others. If you are looking for this, then we’ll help you get connected to a group. The new ‘semester’ of Community Groups will begin the week of September 14th and run through the end of November. Look for more details on the web and at Sunday services. If you are interested, contact Jared Murray.

Meet & Greet

After the worship service on September 7, there will be a small reception for all visitors, guests, and newcomers to Park Church. So if that’s you, you’re invited to attend! It will be a ~15 minute, casual reception in the church library. There will be coffee and dessert served, and you’ll have a chance to meet a Park Church pastor and/or staff, ask questions, hear about the vision and values of Park Church, and begin to see where God might be calling you to get involved.

Men's Retreat

Men of Park Church - come to the North East Men’s Retreat in Lake Champion, NY from September 26-28. Grab a brochure on the info table or download it here, and register early to save! Email Chris Benosky so that you can get info on carpools (guys leave at all different times throughout the day) and if you have any questions. All men are invited and encouraged to go!
