11th Annual Cottage & Garden Tour: Saturday, September 13th

Tickets Still Available To Purchase!

The Cannon Beach History Center & Museum's annual fundraiser, the Cottage & Garden Tour is less than two weeks away! If you haven't purchased your tickets yet, now's the time! Purchase your tickets in advance so you won't have to wait in line. Just pull up to the Museum and a volunteer will hand you a map indicating parking, the homes and gardens to tour, and other useful information. Tickets can be purchased at the Museum, over the phone (503-436-9301), or through the online gift shop. Check below for more information on the schedule of events.
Cottage & Garden Tour Schedule of Events
Saturday, September 13th
Luncheon & Lecture featuring Ed Overbay - 12:00 p.m. at the Tolovana Inn

 A light luncheon prepared by Culinary Capers will be accompanied with a lecture by local craftsman, Ed Overbay. The presentation will be on innovations (like the refrigerator) that changed how homes were and are constructed. Luncheon and Lecture tickets are only $20 with a discount for Members. The Luncheon & Lecture will be hosted at the Tolovana Inn. Tickets for this event can be purchased no later than Monday, September 8th.

Tickets are available to purchase separately. Weekend packages are available with a discount to Members. Tickets can be purchased at the Museum, over the phone (503-436-9301), or through the online gift shop.
Self-Guided Walking Tour of Homes and Gardens - 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

There will be ten beach dream homes, well-tended gardens, historic cottages and architectural wonders in Mid-Town Cannon Beach. The tour will feature one of Cannon Beach's most iconic historic homes. The home is perches on a basalt precipice in the middle of Cannon Beach with one of the best views of Haystack Rock. Tickets are $30 with a discount for Members.

Concert & Wine Reception featuring the Maggie Kitson trio - 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. ($5 if not attending Tour)

Kick off your walking shoes and join us for music by local phenom, Maggie Kitson while enjoying wine and hors d'oeuvres from Sweet Charity. The winner of the quilt raffle will be announced at 7:00 p.m. Included in cost of self-guided home and garden tour tickets.

Sunday, September 14th
Brunch & Presentation featuring Beth Holland - 11:00 a.m. at the Tolovana Inn

The 11th annual tour will wrap with a brunch at the Tolovana Inn catered by Culinary Capers. A garden presentation will be given by local landscape architect and gardener, Beth Holland. Holland will be hosting a dinner-theater style reading of minutes from select meetings of the Tolovana Garden Club. Tickets are $10. The brunch will be hosted at the Tolovana Inn. Tickets for this event can be purchased no later than Monday, September 8th.

11th Annual Quilt Raffle Tickets Still Available!

Win this beautiful quilt created by local textile artist, Marilyn Dwyer. The title of the quilt is, "By the Beautiful Sea" and is on display at the Cannon Beach History Center & Museum. The winner of the quilt will be announced at 7:00 p.m. during the Concert & Wine Reception held at the Cannon Beach History Center & Museum. You do not have to present to win.
