We would like to invite you to participate in the Open Education Consortium 2nd Quarterly Membership Meeting. Quarterly membership meetings provide a venue for members to hear about the Consortium's and Members' activities, interact with open education professionals from around the world, discuss topics of common interest and get feedback and input from other members.

Open Education Professional Directory
We have had a great response to the Open Education Professional Directory. Thank you to all of you who have submitted your information. We are in the final stages of developing the interface for the directory, which we will launch very soon. Check the home page of our website for an announcement, and join the Quarterly Membership Meeting for a demo. The purpose of the Open Education Professional Directory is to provide a consolidated list of experienced professionals in open open education.

Open MOOCs now open for registration
The Consortium has partnered with edX to offer our members the opportunity to develop Openly licensed MOOCs based on existing OER. The first of these Open MOOCs are available for registration under the Consortium's area on edX: https://www.edx.org/school/oecx

We will be adding additional courses throughout the year, so check back often. For more information on the partnership with edX, please see the June 2014 newsletter, or contact any staff member.

Call for Proposals to Host Open Education Global 2016 is Open

The Open Education Global Conference is a meeting place for those involved with or interested in the Open Education movement and its impact on global education.

Conference participants hear from global thought leaders in open education, learn about new initiatives and developments, and discuss issues important to the movement. 
If you are interested in being considered for hosting Open Education Global 2016 please download the application forms through the following link.
