Thanks for Joining our Fourth Annual Bike the Watershed day!

Welcome to the Watershed
We are grateful for your interest and your participation in our bike ride on Saturday. It was terrific riding with you!  Your participation really made it an outstanding event for all of us.

We send out a monthly newsletter of watershed related events. There is also a ton of useful information on our website

Coastal Clean up
Sept. 20 is Coastal Clean Up day. We do either a land based or Kayak/canoe creek based clean up of the Gallinas Watershed area. We'll keep you posted as details firm up. You can also visit the website above to find other events to participate in. Keeping it clean in California--removing plastic and other pollutants from our communal waterways.

Watershed Tours
GWC offers tours of the headwaters, bay, and city portion of Gallinas Creek. Rachel Kamman, noted local hydrologist and other local experts will be on hand to answer questions and provoke a new way of thinking about our creeks and waterways. Dates will be posted on the website as we confirm them. Our President, Art, is also known to offer creek tours by canoe to interested persons.

Monthly Meetings
The GWC Board meets on the first Wednesday of the month in the Community Room on the second floor of the Northgate Mall above the food court. Meetings are from 7 - 9 pm. All are invited and encouraged to attend. We discuss many matters of interest concerning our local area and creeks in general. Our next meeting is Wed. Sept. 3, 2014.

See You in the Watershed!
