IC-IMPACTS Concluding Open Call Competition

IC-IMPACTS will be concluding its Open Call for Proposals Competition it its current form on October 20, 2014 and will be launching a new Open Call for proposals shortly after.  Applicants may may submit a letter of Intent (LOI) up until October 20, 2014.
 
Joint Call for Proposals with DBT Closed

The IC-IMPACTS joint Call for Proposals with the Department of Biotechnology of India (DBT) closed with great success.  Over 30 applications for collaborative research were received in the areas of water and health.  The applications are currently being reviewed, applicants will be notified of funding decisions by Dec 1, 2014.
    
Agreement Signed with IIT Hyderabad

IC-IMPACTS signed a new Statement of Cooperation with the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad).  This agreement will help explore future research collaborations, workshops, and partner development activities between both organizations.
 
IC-IMPACTS Water Project Featured in
The Vancouver Sun

An IC-IMPACTS project led by Dr. Pierre Berube was recently profiled The Vancouver Sun.  Dr. Berube's project focuses on delivering high quality, potable water to small and remote communities in both Canada and India.  Dr. Madjid Mohseni and Dr. Nemy Banthia are also featured in the article.

Abstracts Submissions Due Sept 30, 2014

ConMat'15 Construction Materials Conference is reminding researchers that abstract submissions for the conference are due by Sept 30, 2014.  Abstracts will be reviewed and authors will be notified of results by October 15, 2014.
