The song “Los Peces Gordos No Pueden Volar” is from Ana Tijoux’s critically acclaimed new album ‘Vengo’ which was written while she was pregnant and recorded “in-between diaper changes.”
This summer, Ana Tijoux (with baby in tow) returned to New York for a major concert at theLatin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC) showcase at Central Park’s SummerStage, which earned a glowing review from the NY Times. While in New York, Ana Tijoux also visitedBuzzfeed and Democracy Now.
Ana Tijoux has multiple upcoming festival appearances and USA concerts dates, starting on August 30th in Washington, where she’s opening for Dave Matthews Band at the Gorge Amphitheatre.
Ana Tijoux is also playing at Supersonico Festival in Los Angeles on October 11th, along with Café Tacvba, Calle 13 and more. She will perform both weekends at Austin City Limits, along with Eminem, Beck and Izzy Azalea, plus in San Francisco on October 18th at the Treasure Island Festival with Outkast and Janelle Monae.
