Hi <<First Name>>
If you live on the Coast, hold this date - October 19. That Sunday evening we'll be having an appreciation event for all of RM's partners and volunteers at the RM Center in Pass Christian.
Servacations...
A Life Changing Experience!
This past June, Jason and Cari Gold brought their two boys, Cade and Carson, down to the Gulf Coast from Illinois to experience a family “Servacation” with Relevant Ministry. They came during a busy week when RM was hosting a mission team of 40 students, staying in the dorms and serving right along-side the mission team. They served in the kitchen, helped lead team building events and even got a little fishing in. While Cari and Angie prepared meals, Jeff, Jason, Cade and Carson served Ms. Emma by rebuilding her rotted entry way and laying a beautiful tile floor. The boys worked hard and Ms. Emma was overwhelmed with her new entryway. It was a blessing to build a new relationship and have this opportunity to reveal Christ to her in a practical way.
RM: Why did you want to come to the Coast to serve with your family?
J&C: Hearing about the opportunities with RM seemed like a way to build character in our boys and teach them godly values while making a difference in the lives of others.
RM: What did God do in your lives while you were serving with RM?
J&C: I’ve never been one to be comfortable with sharing with others about my faith. Loaves and Fishes was a huge stretch for our family and I was blown away to see Cade so intentional about serving and ministering to the homeless. Another highlight for our family was Cade’s personal decision to be baptized and I had the honor of baptizing Cade in the Gulf.
RM: What was your take away from the week of SERVING?
J&C: We don’t have to travel halfway across the world to find needs. Cade and Carson embraced missions with RM and keep asking when can we go back? We are already making plans to serve next summer.

ONE was again a time of amazing life change, growth, service, and challenging students to take next steps in their walk with God.
Churches from Illinois and Mississippi came together and had opportunities to serve a local family through a work project, minister to an entire community by doing a VBS at a low income housing community, and serve and share the Gospel at a community kitchen. Students also engaged in powerful and spirit-led worship throughout the week, experience insightful and powerful teaching and participate in small groups, and build relationships through interactive team building exercises. New personal relationships were formed, existing relationships were strengthened, and what began as a week of unfamiliar students and leaders, ended with a united body that impacted lives along the Mississippi Coast, and prepared hearts and lives for the plans God has.
ONE 2015 dates are set!
June 7-13, 2015
Contact Brad Houchin about bringing your church’s high school students to ONE for an incredible week of serving, teaching, building relationships and worshiping together along with other churches. This is one week that will impact you forever.

Meet the 2014-2015 RM Interns
Stephen Burrell
Stephen started his one-year internship with RM on June 1st and is serving as the Director of Administration at Calvary Chapel in Bay St. Louis, MS. His main role will be developing the process of assimilation of church members, development of the church website and data base, and other duties as time progresses. Stephen and his wife Jeanie have been married for almost 30 years and have four grown children. We are excited to have Stephen on the RM Intern Team as God uses him to equip and empower healthy leaders in his church and greatly impact their community for Jesus Christ.
Konnor Dunham
Konnor will begin a one-year internship with RM on September 2, 2014. One of the key objectives for Konnor’s internship will be to focus on developing and promoting the RM Summer Mission Experience for 2015 called “ONE”. Konnor will also be connecting with local church youth ministries and para church ministries along the Gulf Coast to build relationships, serve alongside them in the public schools and discover how we at RM can partner with them in ministry and leadership development. Konnor is going to be a great addition to the RM Team as he reaches out and impacts this next generation for Jesus Christ.
