Dallas has an established cohort of Mexican fare with plenty of variety from Tex-Mex to traditional dishes from Oaxaca. The latest establishment on the corner of Henderson and Willis, Mesero Miguel, proved intriguing when I learned the restaurant was conceived by Mico Rodriguez, an early contributor to Mi Cocina.

Lakewood Hills Families is a closed Facebook group accessible only to families living within Lakewood Hills with current paid neighborhood dues. The group is a place to sell/trade items, ask for advice, share babysitters, organize playdates (even sans kids), post upcoming kid-friendly events and, above all, interact with neighborhood families.
