Earthquakes, Aftershocks & Shear Testing
GDS have developed a range of apparatuses to approximate loading conditions similar to those recorded during earthquakes to provide valuable geotechnical knowledge needed to develop foundation and structural design solutions in areas vulnerable to earthquakes. GDS' Shear testing range enable cyclic loading patterns, such as acceleration time histories recorded during earthquake shaking, to be applied to soil specimens. Discover More
