Summertime Happenings and Fall Beginnings
NASHVILLE
Well the past couple months have been crazy busy! My brother left for a mission trip with our church youth group to go to Haiti while my mom and I went to Nashville, TN, and I got all my vocals recorded, as well as a really fun photo shoot for the album graphics. My family and I have felt very blessed to have gotten to work with the people we did in TN, and cannot WAIT for you guys to hear the finished product! My fundraiser did pretty well and we pray to be able to get this album released in the next month or so! Again THANK YOU to those who donated to my Indiegogo fundraiser, and for those of you who support me in prayer and donationg/purchases at my concerts and events. MY HOMETOWN
After getting home from Tennessee, I was blessed to sing for a Little League BBQ in my hometown. I even got a bunch of the boys and a couple girls on stage with me to sing a couple songs! One of my new favorite events. =)
UNSPOKEN
I was also SO blessed to open up for the band Unspoken in Cheyenne, WY. I am thankful for the opportunity and for the things I learned from talking with them and watching them minister in concert. Thanks again to Choe Hayes, his family, and Cheyenne Hills church for having us!

FRIENDS & FAMILY
Then we were off to be a part of my best friend's wedding in St. George, UT, where I enjoyed sharing a song I had written for them - I'm sure it will be on an album in the future. =) We then had some much-needed family time where we welcomed my newest cousin into the family, hung out as a family on the beach, attended the Step of Hope benefit dance concert in LA, went sailing with friends in San Diego, and enjoyed the awesome beauty of God's creation in Bryce Canyon, UT.
Those were some last moments all together as a family before my brother rode off into the future of being a BHSU Yellow Jacket student athlete. So proud of him for his efforts and goals for the future - praying for his protection during football and being on his own! We are going to miss hanging out with him every day, but so very thankful for the technology to be able to stay in touch. We are both entering exciting times in our lives, and it's kind of crazy to both be off into the great beyond after spending our whole lives being best buds! God is good - may He watch between us while we are all apart.
MY HOME STATE
Next stop was the Wyoming State Fair, where I got to spend three days singing to the food court area. It was my first fair experience singing, and we had a blast. I was so excited to see For King & Country and Building 429 in concert one night - what a great show and message they share from the stage! These guys with me in the picture below are The Moonlight Howlers and they sang on the same stage as me each day. If you like Rockabilly music, you must check them out! They are so fun!

A COLD CHALLENGE
Today I did the #StrikeOutALS #IceBucketChallenge and if you haven't heard anything about it, I challenge you to watch these two videos and join the challenge. It's cold for only a few moments of our life, but just think of the people battling ALS who are frozen physically by the attack on their brains and muscles...and fighting a losing battle with time. This sin-cursed world is so hard sometimes, so we pray that they will indeed find a cure, but also that many will come to know the Lord in the midst of their battles.

Last, but not least, here are the dates that we have booked over the next couple months.
