Greetings from One University Road! We appreciate your continued interest in BU Academy, and look forward to getting to know your family over the coming months. In that spirit, we hope you will join us on October 5 to learn more about our dynamic community of learners and distinctive program of studies.
 
Admission Open House
Sunday, October 5
1:00 - 3:00 p.m.  (registration and a student panel discussion begins at 12:30 p.m.)
 
Academy faculty, students, and parents will be available to talk about the school's ceilingless curriculum, nurturing community, vibrant student life, and connection with Boston University. Complimentary parking will be available. RSVPs are requested, but not required. 

In the meantime, we encourage your family to call the Admission Office at 617-358-2493 to schedule an official campus visit (a tour, interview, and/or full-day visit separate from the Open House event) as our calendar is beginning to fill up!

PORTA provides prospective families with a quick and easy way to begin the application process and to monitor the status of the various application materials.

Take the next step in applying by creating a secure PORTA account and submitting a Preliminary Application.

Your family will be sent an email confirmation once our office receives your Preliminary Application; however, we strongly recommend that you also print a copy for your records.

Notes from the Corner Office

Head of School Jim Berkman's weekly letter to the BUA community from September 26.

This week some of us are celebrating the holiday of Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year), and next week Yom Kippur (the day of Atonement). It is a time to reflect on the past year and the year to come, on the things in our lives that have gone well and the things we wish we could have done better. In many ways, the start of an academic year invites this same kind of self-reflection from all of us, whatever our religious affiliations.
