CGM is the Cloud is an incredible new system that allows parents to remotely monitor their Dexcom CGM while your child is at school, at a friends or even in the next room via your smartphone, tablet and even a compatible "pebble" watch.

Open Forum: This is reserved time for open discussion where people may share any successes, challenges, questions, concerns, etc. with the group.

General Group Meeting Information:

T1DE will be focusing our group meetings for parents/adults unlike our previous meeting formats. Children are welcome but no childcare or activities will be provided. We will instead be focusing our family events on the entire family to foster those all important peer/mentor relationships and above all have FUN!!!

About our Back to School Meeting:

504 plans for your T1D is a contract that is your legal right for the care of your child at school. You develop a plan with your school's administrators, nurses, teachers, etc. that must be adhered to during the school year. This may include the ability to take extra bathroom breaks, have water, meter, etc. in the classroom, test considerations when sugars are out of range and a host of other items. If a situation arises where any of these items in your 504 plan are broken you have a right to have them addressed by the administration.
