Confirmation bias

Hi,

Today, football (of the American variety) really got going. I'm curious to see what happens to our Sunday newsletter open rates during the season.

BTW, I'm a Miami Dolphins fan. It's been a brutal existence, but we beat New England today. Fingers crossed.

The plural of anecdote is not data

Saw an interesting Twitter conversation about investor pro-rata rights between Aaron Harris (YC), Hunter Walk (Homebrew), Keith Rabois (Khosla) and Jonathan Abrams (Nuzzel) among others, and party rounds came up as part of the conversation.

They (party rounds) are always derided as a bad thing, but the actual data doesn't support the anecdotal claims. Of course, the narrative on party rounds being terrible will continue irrespective of the data.

Have a great week ahead,
Anand
