Welcome to Enchanted, the seasonal newsletter that keeps us up to date with fluting activities in New Zealand/Aotearoa. This newsletter is published by Southern Cross Flutes, and contributed to and made possible by you, the fans of the Native American Style Flute. These newsletters will keep you informed about Flute Circles, Events and Markets that I will be attending; it showcases flute players and their journeys with their flutes, and offer you wonderful flute giveaways.

There's always something new coming out of the Southern Cross Flutes Kapiti HQ. Here are some of the highlights!

Our New Website has launched and is aiming to set the highest standards for crafting and delivering you the best flutes and products possible, as well as creating a strong and cohesive community. Hope you like it, we do!

New Flute Range! You'll find a wider range of high quality flutes, all individually crafted by Todd. If you like Black Walnut, Black Maire, Cedar, and Ancient Kauri, then these flutes are for you!

Crafted For You Flutes. I aspire to offer you the best possible flutes at the best possible price. I realized that to achieve the finest quality, I needed to tweak the way I offer my craft to you. Custom Flutes. I know how much we all love unique flutes. On the Custom Flutes page you'll find a selection of the latest woods that I have in limited supply, along with a handy Custom Flute Builder Page - get creative!

Enchanted Journeys - Learning with the Native American Style Flute - Book and DVD. During the year a great team of people have been working on publishing the world's most up-to-date, user-friendly, comprehensive, colourful and interactive, flute playing instructional book and DVD package. This will be on the market worldwide by Christmas.

Body Mind Spirit Festival - Sat/Sun September 20/21, Christchurch. Join me at this beautiful weekend festival full of inspirational presenters, amazing ideas and healing workshops.
Palmerston North Flute Circle - Sunday September 28th. Our first flute gathering in Palmerston North, it's a full day flute affair, so check the details and I hope to see you there!
Kapiti Flute Circle - Sun Oct 19th, 3-5:30 pm - A relaxed afternoon in the sunshine. Develop your playing skills and enjoyment with your flute. Potluck dinner from 5:30pm. Koha donation.
Kapiti Arts Trail - Sat/Sun November 14/15th - Southern Cross Flutes is proud to be part of the finest arts trail in the country. Join thousands of visitors on this artists pilgrimage, visiting their workshops and art spaces along the Kapiti Coast.

Palmy Flute Circle

When: September 28th, 10am - 3pm (remember daylight savings!).
Where: Our host's home - Anne Elliot @ 52 Green Road, Awahuri, Palmerston North.
Who: Open to all, you don't even need a flute (because we're making one). A great event for you and your friends.

Investment: $100. Covers your new flute we'll make, and workshop facilitation. Pre-payment preferred.
