Trailblazers Meeting & Kick Off Event Sept 14 & Sept 24, 6:30PM
There will be a meeting led by Josh Sanders immediately following the service in the Elevate Sunday school room for parents of children ages 10-13. Their kick off event will be Wednesday, September 24th at 6:30PM at Pastor Greg's house. Please sign your children up in the back at the information table if they plan to be a part of this ministry.

Bridal Shower Sept 21, 1PM
Kelsie Hyde's bridal shower will be at Crystal Carleton's house. Come celebrate her upcoming marriage and have some dessert! Kelsie and her fiance are registered at Target. Crystal's address is 401 1st St. E in Altoona.

Engage Men's Retreat Sept 26-27
Come and gather with all the men from our Engage Network of churches. Friday morning is golf at Honey Creek in Boone, and then the retreat kicks off that afternoon at Hidden Acres Camp. There are a lot of pre-retreat activities like the gun range, basketball, flag-football, swimming, and more. Sign up at church or on the website.

Give examples in scripture of godly men and women going through trials. How did they respond - good or bad? (ex: Moses, Job, David, Esther, Mary, Daniel, Peter, etc.)

Engage Men's Retreat
Pray for the men to be encouraged through fellowship and for them to have a genuine time of drawing closer to God. Pray for the speaker, Paul Sabino, that God will speak through him to challenge hearts.
